Terry Ray Noll of Mount Pleasant passed peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Terry was the son of the late Raymond C. and Rachael (Weibel) Noll, having been born on June 2, 1947. A 1965 graduate of the Mount Pleasant Area School District, he went on to obtain his accounting certificate from the Durbin's Secretary School. In 1966 Terry joined the United States Air Force and spent the next four years working in top-secret telecommunications in the Philippines and Korea as well as stateside. He was honorably discharged as an Airman 1st Class in 1970.Terry went on to work at Uptegraft and enjoyed his twenty-six years there in the accounting department. A lifelong member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Terry contributed his beautiful bass voice to the choir and men's quartet. Terry's favorite past time was sports, whether it was reading about it, watching it or talking about it.Terry was a loving and devoted brother to his sister Sharon E. (Noll) Brown of Bellefonte, PA formerly of Mount Pleasant, and like a father to his nephew David W. Brown (Maria) from Hackettstown, NJ and niece Melanie E. Komlenic (Chris) of Bellefonte, PA. And while he did not have grandchildren of his own, his great-nephews Devin W.H. Brown of Lima, OH and Steven R. Brown of Bellefonte, PA more than filled that role. He will be greatly missed by all of them, as well as his special cousin Mary Sue Hyatt of Carefree, AZ and numerous "Schaefferstown" cousins. His family extends their appreciation to the staff of the Hempfield Manor for the care and compassion given to Terry.Per Terry's wishes, his service will be private.
