Condolence & Memory Journal

I will never forget the first day I met Tom and Sharon: I was moving in across the hall from them, there I was with a 10 yr old son and me with all my tattoos. I promised them my son would be quiet and that even though I had tattoos I was not a partying type. They both looked at me and said they would never judge me❤ They welcomed us with open arms and Shared many good times together. Rest easy now Tom and keep watch over Sharon

I was lucky enough to be able to call Tom my grandfather, or "Pap Pap" as he preferred. He and Sharon welcomed me into their family with open arms and loving hearts when I was ten years old- never once making me feel like I was a "step" grandchild. I'll never forget the day I was given a blue Connellsville, PA shirt and wore it in front of Tom, watching his 100 watt smile beam across the room!! Soon to follow was his unforgettable booming voice that could have woken up a grizzly bear deep in hibernation- "now that's my GRANDDAUGHTER!!" He was such a fantastic individual, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him was better off because of it.

Pap Pap, you will be deeply missed, but your memory will live on. I will make sure Jackson knows just how wonderful you are. I love you.
