Condolence & Memory Journal

Donald McGuffey was a cousin I remember well from visits to my Grandfather McGuffey's house in New Stanton. He could always fill me in on all the family news and stories as well as show me around the sites of family lands and cemetery graves. What a sweet person. His mother and my Grandmother Edith McGuffey, were great friends and Donnie often came for Christmas and family big family parties. I wish I could be there for his funeral. I just heard about it late this afternoon.
To Bill- I send my deepest sympathy and regards. I have fond memories of Tom and I playing with you as children. Grandma McGuffey keep me up on you adventures for years. Perhaps we can get together when I next come to Greensburg. My address PO Box 2143, Melbourne,Florida 32902. Phone 321-446-912

My family and I first met Don at a music program my Mother had organized at the Apples Mill Church outside of West Newton. Don joined the WNUPC and became the constant man in the pew behind us each week. It is with regret I admit over the past few years many times I thought of sending him a hello thinking of you card. A huge down fall of mine, I never get those cards sent. May Don rest in peace and enjoy the heavenly music.
